Iran to Rebuild Infrastructure with Focus on Renewable Energy Development
Iran's Energy Minister announced plans to restore war-damaged infrastructure, emphasizing solar power expansion. By summer's end, 4,000-5,000 MW of solar capacity is expected to be operational, enhancing the electricity grid.

Iran's Energy Minister, Abbas Aliabadi, confirmed that the government aims to rebuild infrastructure damaged by foreign aggression, with a commitment to better standards. A significant milestone is the inauguration of the 130-megawatt Kaveh Methanol solar power plant, expected to enhance solar power capacity significantly.
By the end of summer, Iran plans to integrate 4,000 to 5,000 megawatts of solar energy into the grid. Markazi Province leads in solar power plant establishment due to its favorable geographic and climatic conditions. This emphasis on renewable energy is critical for sustainable development and attracting investment.
