Iran's Minister of Industry, Mining, and Trade has announced a strategic and operational plan for the industry sector, created with the participation of private sector stakeholders and approved by relevant organizations and the Cabinet. The plan includes a focus on provincial breakdowns, highlighting Kerman province's unique advantages and its eighth place in national value-added ranking.

The Minister noted that with its copper resources, Kerman has the potential for increased value-added through focused processing. He urged for swift project completion to avoid economic viability loss.
