IREX and Hamada Collaborate on Solar Panel Recycling in Vietnam
IREX Energy Joint Stock Company and Japan's Hamada Company are establishing a solar panel recycling project in Vietnam to tackle end-of-life renewable energy equipment challenges. This joint venture is expected to strengthen bilateral technology ties and promote sustainable practices in the solar industry.

IREX Energy Joint Stock Company and Hamada Company have signed a cooperation agreement to develop a solar panel recycling facility in Vietnam. The facility is projected to process approximately 40,000 solar modules annually, focusing on the collection, classification, and recycling of end-of-life panels.
Recovered materials will include glass, aluminum frames, junction boxes, and solar cells, contributing to a circular economy model for the solar industry. This initiative aligns with global sustainability goals and is expected to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises as ESG standards rise. IREX has been conducting feasibility studies since 2022 to support environmental protection and expand recycling efforts.
