Isar Aerospace Secures €270 Million in Series D Funding for Expansion and Production Scaling
Isar Aerospace has raised €270 million in a Series D funding round, primarily to enhance production of its Spectrum launch vehicle and expand its global launch infrastructure. This funding highlights the urgent need for Europe to develop independent space capabilities amid increasing governmental demand for sovereign access to space.

Isar Aerospace has successfully closed a €270 million Series D funding round, with contributions from UVC Partners, KfW Capital, Island Green Capital, and Molten Ventures. The capital will be allocated to ramp up production at Isar's facility in Parsdorf, which is capable of producing up to 40 Spectrum launch vehicles annually, and to expand the company's launch infrastructure, including a new site in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The demand for independent launch services from the government sector has surged, now accounting for approximately 60% of inquiries, reflecting broader strategic interests. As the only private European entity focused on scaling up launch capacity, Isar Aerospace is well-positioned to play a crucial role in enhancing Europe’s technological sovereignty in space.
