Israel's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has allocated NIS 13.4 million (approximately $4.2 million) in grants to 18 energy startups to enhance clean energy and infrastructure technologies. The two-year funding supports early-stage research and projects ready for real-world demonstration.

Seven projects focus on prototype development, while 11 are further along, aimed at commercial deployment. Notable projects include eStreet's integration of EV charging stations into urban light poles, Solarwin's smart solar shading system for jojoba plantations, and BSP's buoy-based technology for generating electricity from shallow ocean waves.

Additional projects involve hydrogen production from industrial flares and AI applications in energy. The grants, awarded through the Chief Scientist Unit, reflect increased interest in energy innovation, with future funding rounds planned.
