Israeli ADC to Build €100 Million Data Center in Albania's TEDA Zone
Israeli company ADC is set to invest €100 million to build Albania's first data center in the TEDA zone of Kashar, Tirana, utilizing Nvidia's Robin graphic processors. The facility will have an initial capacity of 32 megawatts, expandable to 100 megawatts, and aims to attract European and American clients for AI processing powered by green energy. This project reflects the strengthening of ties between Israel and Albania, particularly in the wake of a 2022 cyberattack that led Albania to adopt Israeli cybersecurity technologies.

Israeli company ADC will construct Albania's first data center, with a €100 million investment in the Economic and Technological Development Area (TEDA) in Kashar, Tirana. The facility will utilize Nvidia's Robin graphic processors, providing 32 megawatts of power, expandable to 100 megawatts.
The building permit was granted within 60 days, and the site covers 1.8 hectares of state land. This project aligns with strengthened ties between Israel and Albania, especially following a 2022 Iranian cyberattack in Tirana that prompted Albania to adopt Israeli cybersecurity technologies.
ADC has secured financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for 75% of the project cost and has already signed three key clients. The data center aims to attract European and American clients seeking AI processing capabilities powered by green energy.
