Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza City Result in Five Deaths Amid Ongoing Conflict
Recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City have killed five individuals, as confirmed by local hospitals and rescue services. Despite a US-backed ceasefire established in October 2025, military operations continue, with over 1,318 fatalities reported in Gaza since that date.

On a recent Monday, Israeli airstrikes resulted in five fatalities in Gaza City, targeting what the Israeli army described as Hamas military operatives. Al-Shifa Hospital reported two bodies from an airstrike on a residential building and three additional bodies from a drone strike on a civilian vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.
The civil defense confirmed the casualties, and images showed the destruction caused by the drone strike. Since the ceasefire began in October 2025, at least 1,318 individuals have been killed in Gaza, according to health ministry figures. The Israeli military noted five soldiers and one civilian contractor have also died in the same timeframe, indicating ongoing conflict despite diplomatic efforts.
