Italian Exhibition Group Plans New Arena in Rimini, Aims for €100M Revenue Growth by 2030
Italian Exhibition Group (Ieg) announced a strategic plan targeting €360-365 million in revenue by 2030, aiming for €100 million growth. Construction for a new dome-shaped pavilion in Rimini is set to begin after summer 2026, with completion expected for Ecomondo 2029. Ieg plans to introduce a new event annually, starting with Bex in 2026, focused on the space economy. Additionally, Ieg seeks to establish a direct flight connection from Federico Fellini Airport to Rome Fiumicino to enhance accessibility for exhibitors.

The pavilion will accommodate over 18,500 attendees for various events. Ieg plans to launch a new event annually from 2026, starting with Bex, dedicated to the space economy. Ieg also intends to establish a direct flight from Federico Fellini Airport to Rome Fiumicino in partnership with Ita Airways to improve international connectivity.
