Italy Space Day to Convene Aerospace Leaders in Seoul
The sixth Italy Space Day will occur on Wednesday at the Embassy of Italy in Seoul, focusing on aerospace advancements and bilateral cooperation. This event is significant for enhancing collaboration between Italy and Korea in space technology.

On Wednesday, the Embassy of Italy in Seoul will host the sixth Italy Space Day, uniting representatives from the aerospace sector, academic institutions, and research bodies from both Italy and Korea. This event commemorates the 1964 San Marco satellite launch, marking Italy's entry as the third nation to place a domestic satellite in orbit.
Attendees will include Ambassador Emilia Gatto, Rep. Hwang Jeong-ah, and Park Jae-seong from the Korea AeroSpace Administration. Keynote speaker will be Col.
Walter Villadei, an astronaut affiliated with Axiom Mission 3. The event aims to enhance collaborative efforts in space science and technology between the two nations.
