Italy's UMASI and IDA Form Alliance to Boost Data Center Investment and Digital Competitiveness
Italy's UMASI and the Italian Data Center Association (IDA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance investment attraction in the Data Center sector. The agreement aims to improve transparency for investors and promote balanced development of digital infrastructure, positioning Italy as a key Data Center hub in Europe. Collaborative efforts will include enhancing the Invest in Italy website and organizing training events for IDA members on investment policies.

The Unità di Missione Attrazione e Sblocco degli Investimenti (UMASI), the Technical Secretariat of the Foreign Investment Attraction Committee (CAIE), and the Italian Data Center Association (IDA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance investment attraction policies in the Data Center sector in Italy. The agreement aims to improve transparency and attractiveness for investors while promoting balanced development of national digital infrastructure and solidifying Italy's role as a strategic Data Center hub in Europe.
The CAIE and IDA will collaborate to enhance the Invest in Italy website, focusing on mapping suitable areas for Data Center construction. Additionally, UMASI and CAIE will organize training events and seminars for IDA members to disseminate information about investment policies and facilitate operational skill transfer among stakeholders.
