ITCEN ENTEC Launches Smart Aquaculture Big Data Center in Busan
ITCEN ENTEC has begun construction on South Korea's first smart aquaculture big data center in Busan, with a project budget of approximately 10 billion won over 18 months. This initiative aims to integrate artificial intelligence into the fisheries sector by developing a cloud-based data management system and the largest smart aquaculture data portal in the country, ultimately enhancing productivity and competitiveness in seafood exports. Additionally, ITCEN ENTEC plans to leverage this project to expand into Web3 and real-world assets.

ITCEN ENTEC has commenced construction on Busan's smart aquaculture big data center, aiming to lead an artificial intelligence transition in the fisheries sector. Selected as the lead company for the project, ITCEN ENTEC signed a contract for a service project valued at approximately 10 billion won, scheduled to last 18 months.
The initiative will establish the first AI big data center for aquaculture in South Korea, integrating smart aquaculture with data-driven technologies. Key tasks include developing a cloud-based AI big data center, a standardized big data management system, and the nation's largest smart aquaculture data portal.
The project aims to enhance productivity and quality in the aquaculture sector, stimulate private investment, and improve seafood export competitiveness. ITCEN ENTEC also plans to leverage this experience to expand into Web3 and real-world assets, fostering a future-oriented business model.
