Itec Advances Digital Transformation of Alagoas Government in 2025
In 2025, the Instituto de Tecnologia em Informática e Informação do Estado de Alagoas (Itec) made significant strides in modernizing the technological infrastructure of the Alagoas State Government. Key initiatives included the implementation of a Modular Datacenter, enhancing processing capacity and stability for state agencies.
The Itec also initiated the deployment of a government cloud, improving flexibility and resource utilization. Security enhancements were made through the establishment of a Security Operations Center (SOC) for incident response and the creation of a General Data Protection Law (LGPD) Portal.
Additionally, the Itec delivered strategic systems such as the Integrated Management System (SGI) and the Airfare Management System (SGPA). In 2025, Itec's president, Christiano Mendonça, was appointed vice-president of the Brazilian Association of State Entities of Information Technology and Communication (ABEP-TIC), enhancing Alagoas' representation in public technology. Itec concluded 2025 with a more robust technological structure and expanded services.
