Iveco Bus Launches First Hydrogen City Bus in Europe in Lorient, France

Iveco Bus has delivered the first GX 337 H2 LINIUM hydrogen city bus to Lorient Agglomération, France, which commenced service on December 22, 2025. The bus operates on the T5 line, connecting Lorient, Lanester, Hennebont, and Inzinzac-Lochrist.

A total of 19 units are planned, with 10 additional buses to be delivered in 2026. The GX 337 H2 LINIUM features a 100 kW fuel cell, four hydrogen tanks, and a 69 kW/h battery pack from FPT Industrial, accommodating up to 110 passengers with a range of 450 km.

Hydrogen consumption is reported to be 15-20% lower than the market average. The bus includes a heat pump system for comfort and is fully accessible. Additionally, it offers Iveco On digital services for fleet monitoring.
