IWS and CROM Introduce NXT|MBR: First Permanent Concrete Modular Wastewater System
Integrated Water Services, Inc. and CROM have partnered to launch NXT|MBR, the first permanent concrete modular wastewater treatment system. This innovative solution combines rapid deployment with long-term durability, enabling municipalities to convert wastewater into reusable, revenue-generating assets.

Integrated Water Services, Inc. (IWS) and CROM have launched NXT|MBR, a permanent concrete modular wastewater treatment system designed for rapid deployment. The system utilizes advanced Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology, allowing for high-quality effluent production in a compact footprint, effectively transforming wastewater into a valuable resource.
NXT|MBR's post-tensioned concrete structure ensures durability and longevity, addressing the need for resilient infrastructure in municipal planning. This system can be deployed in increments of 250,000 gallons per day, aligning infrastructure investments with growth.
The partnership aims to streamline wastewater infrastructure development, potentially reducing project timelines and capital tied up in traditional site-built systems. The ability to generate revenue from treated wastewater may provide municipalities with financial advantages in managing water scarcity.
