Jackson City Council Approves Regional Alliance for West County Line Road Project
The Jackson City Council has approved a regional alliance with Madison County, Hinds County, and Ridgeland to enhance the West County Line Road corridor, driven by the development of a new Amazon Web Services data center. The $33 million project, which will expand the road to four lanes, will be funded by Madison County, with Jackson incurring no costs. The initiative is set to be executed in three segments, beginning near Tougaloo College, and received unanimous support from the council.
