Jiangsu United Water Technology Leads Bidding for Saudi Wastewater Treatment Project
A consortium led by Jiangsu United Water Technology, alongside Prosus Energy and Armada Holding, is the leading bidder for a $211 million wastewater treatment contract in Saudi Arabia. The project will upgrade two treatment plants under Package 11, North-West Cluster A, and aims for a capacity of 440,000 cubic meters per day. This follows the consortium's previous success with Package 10 in January, as part of the National Water Company's infrastructure improvement program.

Jiangsu United Water Technology of China, in partnership with Prosus Energy from the UAE and Armada Holding from Saudi Arabia, has become the leading bidder for a $211 million contract for the construction and upgrade of two wastewater treatment plants in Saudi Arabia. The consortium's tariff offer was the lowest among competitors, including firms from Turkey, Spain, and India.
This project is part of the National Water Company's efforts to enhance water infrastructure, with the LTOM11 project expected to achieve a treatment capacity of 440,000 cubic meters per day. The consortium recently secured Package 10 in January, indicating ongoing advancements in the program, with further tenders anticipated.
