Joby Aviation to Launch Air Taxis in Dubai; New Travel Innovations Planned for 2026
Joby Aviation is set to launch its commercial air taxis in Dubai this year, reducing travel time from the airport to Palm Jumeirah to 12 minutes. Other transport developments include new airports in Phnom Penh and Mumbai, additional flight routes from Australia, and the introduction of high-speed trains in the UAE. Qantas is awaiting the delivery of modified Airbus A350-1000s for long-haul flights starting in 2027. Luxury cruises, sleeper trains, and new bus services are also emerging across various regions, promising significant changes in travel by 2026.
