Johnson Controls to Acquire Alloy Enterprises to Enhance Data Center Cooling Solutions
Johnson Controls has signed an agreement to acquire Alloy Enterprises, a Boston-based company specializing in next-generation thermal management platforms for high-performance data centers. This acquisition aligns with Johnson Controls' strategy to enhance innovation in cooling technologies and strengthen its leadership in the rapidly growing thermal management sector. The deal aims to meet evolving customer needs in data center cooling and further expands Johnson Controls' portfolio of thermal management solutions.

Johnson Controls has agreed to acquire Alloy Enterprises, a Boston-based firm focused on advanced thermal management solutions for data centers and mission-critical applications. This acquisition reinforces Johnson Controls' leadership in the rapidly growing data center cooling market.
Alloy Enterprises’ technology enhances liquid cooling efficiency for GPUs, CPUs, and network interfaces, complementing Johnson Controls' existing range of cooling technologies, including the YDAM magnetic bearing chiller and the YK-HT two-stage economizing chiller. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the third fiscal quarter, pending closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
