DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Johnson Controls has agreed to acquire Alloy Enterprises, a Boston-based firm focused on advanced thermal management solutions for data centers and mission-critical applications. This acquisition reinforces Johnson Controls' leadership in the rapidly growing data center cooling market.

Alloy Enterprises’ technology enhances liquid cooling efficiency for GPUs, CPUs, and network interfaces, complementing Johnson Controls' existing range of cooling technologies, including the YDAM magnetic bearing chiller and the YK-HT two-stage economizing chiller. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the third fiscal quarter, pending closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
