Johnson Controls to Acquire Alloy Enterprises to Enhance Thermal Management Solutions
Johnson Controls has signed an agreement to acquire Alloy Enterprises, aiming to enhance its thermal management portfolio for data centers. The acquisition will integrate Alloy's manufacturing processes, improving liquid cooling efficiency for various components. This move aligns with Johnson Controls' commitment to advancing cooling solutions and is expected to close in fiscal Q3, pending regulatory approvals.

Johnson Controls has agreed to acquire Alloy Enterprises to enhance its thermal management solutions for data centers. This acquisition aims to optimize the thermal management architecture and strengthen existing capabilities across Johnson Controls' portfolio.
Alloy's proprietary manufacturing process will improve liquid cooling efficiency for GPUs/CPUs and more. Johnson Controls offers several advanced cooling technologies, including the YDAM magnetic bearing chiller, YK-HT centrifugal chiller, Silent-Aire CDU platform, and YHAU absorption chillers. The transaction is anticipated to close in fiscal Q3, subject to regulatory approvals.
