Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK Expands Apprenticeship Program in North Wales
Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK has launched a higher apprenticeship program with Coleg Cambria and Wrexham University, enrolling seven apprentices from North Wales for a BEng (Hons) in civil engineering. The program combines college learning with on-site experience across UK projects. Since 2022, Jones Bros has recruited over 100 apprentices and continues to focus on hands-on training in various sectors, including renewable energy.

Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK reinforced its commitment to North Wales by enrolling seven higher apprentices in partnership with Coleg Cambria and Wrexham University. This initiative offers a BEng (Hons) in civil engineering or a BSc (Hons) in quantity surveying, with the courses incorporating both classroom and on-site experience.
The apprentices, including Harri Lewis and Gwion Thomas, are gaining practical knowledge through projects like the Morlais tidal energy scheme. Since 2022, Jones Bros has recruited over 100 apprentices and emphasizes the importance of on-site training for professional development.
