JP Energie Environnement Completes €430 Million Refinancing for Renewable Projects in France
JP Energie Environnement has successfully secured €430 million in refinancing for its portfolio of 427 MW of wind and solar projects in France, which includes 44 assets. The financing, arranged by Societe Generale, will enhance JPee's financial stability and support its international expansion as France's renewable energy capacity continues to grow, with wind and solar power expected to reach significant milestones by the end of 2024.

JP Energie Environnement has completed a €430 million debt raising to refinance 427 MW of wind and solar projects in France. Societe Generale acted as Mandated Lead Arranger, Lender, and Hedge Provider.
The refinancing allows JPee to strengthen its financial position and expand internationally, with the portfolio comprising 44 assets including 25 solar plants and 19 wind farms. By the end of 2024, France's wind power fleet is expected to reach 25 GW, while solar capacity increased by 48% to 25.3 GW, supported by favorable legislation.
