Junkosha Unveils 120 GHz Cable Assemblies for Enhanced AI and Data Center Performance
Junkosha has launched new Microwave/mmWave Coaxial Cable Assemblies capable of supporting signal transmission up to 120 GHz. These innovations aim to address the increasing demand for high-speed data transfer in AI and data center applications, enhancing signal integrity and overall system performance.

Junkosha introduced its MWX001 and MWX002 Microwave/mmWave Coaxial Cable Assemblies at DesignCon 2026, capable of ultra high-speed signal transmission up to 120 GHz with skew matched to 0.5 psec. These cables improve transmission reliability at 448 Gbps, reducing jitter and enhancing signal integrity for next-generation digital systems.
The MWX0A5, a 0.5 mm connector cable supporting signals from DC to 250 GHz, was also showcased. Junkosha's advancements in phase stability and skew management are critical for applications crossing the 100 GHz threshold, particularly in AI-focused SERDES designs. Their partnership with Keysight Technologies ensures superior performance, with MWX0A5 demonstrating low insertion loss and excellent return loss, making it suitable for high-frequency testing.
