K C Panigrahy Appointed Director General of Bureau of Energy Efficiency for Five Years
K C Panigrahy has been appointed as the Director General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) for a five-year term, following his successful tenure as Operations Director at Air Liquide India Pvt. Ltd. In his new role, he will focus on sustainability initiatives, including green hydrogen and renewable energy, to support India's Net Zero 2070 commitment. Panigrahy is noted for his strong safety record and collaborative leadership style.

K C Panigrahy has been appointed as the Director General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) for a five-year term by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. Previously, he served as Operations Director at Air Liquide India Pvt.
Ltd., where he achieved €5 million in annual savings and improved plant utilization from 70% to 100% with a 99.87% availability rate. His safety record includes over 10 years without lost time accidents, reflecting a strong safety culture.
Panigrahy is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, effectively aligning operational teams with business goals. In his new role, he will focus on sustainability initiatives related to green hydrogen, renewable energy, and climate-resilient infrastructure, contributing to India's Net Zero 2070 commitment.
