K3 Copper to Relocate and Expand Operations in Gallia County, Ohio
K3 Copper is relocating to a new $1.9 million facility near Rio Grande, Ohio, creating 10 jobs. The expansion is supported by a $50,000 JobsOhio grant and a Community Reinvestment Area tax abatement.

K3 Copper will move its operations from Jackson, Ohio, to a 10,000-square-foot facility along U.S. 35 near Rio Grande, with a project investment of $1.9 million. The relocation, supported by a $50,000 JobsOhio Small Business Grant, aims to enhance the company's capacity to service its primary client, Nucor Steel, which operates nearby.
The new site is expected to generate 10 new jobs and is the first new manufacturing facility in Gallia County in several years. Local economic development entities, including OhioSE, are backing the initiative, which aligns with Gallia County's manufacturing investment strategy.
