A strategic partnership has been formed between ispace, inc. and the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) to advance lunar exploration technologies in Saudi Arabia. The agreement, signed during the Saudi-Japanese Ministerial Forum, focuses on the design, manufacture, and operation of advanced lunar technologies, including rover systems and payload transportation to the moon.
This collaboration is expected to enhance Saudi Arabia's role in lunar science and promote the space sector's growth, supporting national aspirations under Saudi Vision 2030. The partnership aims to develop local expertise and foster commercial activities in space innovation, potentially positioning Saudi Arabia as a leader in lunar exploration.
