Kaukauna Council Updates Code for Future Data Center Proposals

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

The Kaukauna Common Council voted to amend the municipal code to implement additional review for future data center proposals. This decision is proactive, as there are no current plans or land available for such developments. Mayor Tony Penterman noted that no companies have approached the city regarding data center construction.
