Kazakhstan's government is developing a Data Center Valley in Ekibastuz, targeting 1 GW of computing power with an anticipated investment of $30 billion. The site, spanning 200 hectares, will be connected to essential utilities and is positioned to leverage nearby energy sources.
The project operator will be KT-Telecom, and it aims to enhance connectivity with lower latency than existing routes. In India, Google's data center project in Visakhapatnam is progressing rapidly, with a target to commission by July 2028.
This facility will support AI and cloud services using advanced technology. Both projects signify significant investments in digital infrastructure in their respective regions.
