Kazakhstan and Türkiye Collaborate on AI Infrastructure Development
Kazakhstan seeks joint efforts with Türkiye to enhance its AI infrastructure, focusing on various IT sectors. This collaboration is crucial for advancing Kazakhstan's economy and technology landscape.

Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov highlighted the need for collaboration with Türkiye in developing AI infrastructure during the 14th Kazakh-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission meeting. Kazakhstan has launched two significant supercomputer clusters in Astana and opened the Alem.AI international center, promoting investment through the Data Center Valley project with tax incentives.
The country aims to modernize its economy with full-scale AI implementation. Additionally, initiatives under the Organization of Turkic States include establishing a Cybersecurity Council and developing the CubeSat-12U satellite, enhancing cooperation in IT education, fintech, and e-services. Unified railway tariff discussions were also noted.
