Kazakhstan's IT exports reached $1 billion in 2025, reflecting robust growth in the digital economy, as highlighted by Deputy Prime Minister Zhaslan Madiyev. The Astana Hub, which houses 2,000 IT companies, contributed significantly to this success, generating 800 billion tenge in revenue and facilitating international market access for over 100 startups. Additionally, initiatives such as the Qazaqstan Venture Group and advancements in the space sector underscore the country's commitment to enhancing its digital infrastructure and innovation landscape.

Kazakhstan's IT exports achieved $1 billion in 2025, signaling significant growth in the digital economy, as reported by Deputy Prime Minister Zhaslan Madiyev during a government review. The Astana Hub, comprising 2,000 IT companies and four international hubs, is central to this transformation, generating 800 billion tenge (approximately $1.5 billion) in revenue, a 20% increase from the previous year.
Over 100 Kazakh startups have accessed foreign markets through these hubs, including the region's first unicorn, Higgsfield. The newly launched Qazaqstan Venture Group aims for a $1 billion fund to enhance venture financing.
In the space sector, key design stages for an earth remote sensing satellite constellation are complete, with ongoing preparations for the Soyuz-5/Sunkar launch vehicle. Additionally, by the end of 2027, over 3,000 villages will gain high-speed internet access, and pilot testing of autonomous transport technologies is set to begin.
