Kazakhstan's Tourism Sector Sees 18% Growth in Tax Revenue
Kazakhstan's tourism sector generated KZT 630 billion in tax revenue, marking an 18% increase. Foreign tourists contributed $2.9 billion in spending, with total investments in tourism rising by 33% to KZT 1.3 trillion.

Kazakhstan's tourism industry employed over 600,000 individuals and contributed KZT 5 trillion to the national economy. In the past year, the country hosted 13 international events, generating approximately $18 million.
The Baikonur spaceport, the largest of its kind, has improved accessibility for tourists, with permit processing times reduced to 10 days. Development of the Gagarin Launch Pad and other facilities will require modernization and substantial investment, with project proposals prepared for investors. Addressing infrastructure limitations, especially in Almaty, is crucial for strengthening Kazakhstan's global tourism position.
