KCCS Delegation Engages in Indo-Japan Green Hydrogen Collaboration in Tokyo
A KCCS-led delegation has arrived in Tokyo for a 10-day program focused on green hydrogen technologies. This collaboration aims to enhance India-Japan ties in renewable energy, aligning with global shifts towards cleaner fuel sources.

From June 8 to 17, 2026, a delegation from KCCS visits Tokyo to engage in discussions and learning about green hydrogen and associated technologies. This initiative includes researchers and industry representatives from Indian institutions like Anna University and Kongu Engineering College, aiming to foster collaboration with Japanese innovators.
Key activities include interactions with Japanese companies such as FC-R&D Co., Ltd., highlighting advancements in hydrogen production and fuel cells. The visit follows a preparatory session at IIT Madras, emphasizing the importance of green energy cooperation. The collaboration is expected to bolster India’s renewable energy objectives amidst increasing global demand for green hydrogen.
