The Kelso Solar Project has doubled Missouri's solar energy capacity, generating 430 megawatts, enough to power around 62,000 homes. This 18-month project, located in Scott County, cost approximately $500 million and was executed in two phases.

The energy produced will support local infrastructure and benefit community services, including schools and first responders. The generated power will connect to the transmission system via a nearby substation, contributing to the regional energy grid and supplying major consumers such as Meta's data center.
