Kent Secures EPC Contract for MorGen's 20MW Hydrogen Facility in the UK
MorGen Energy has appointed Kent for FEED and EPC services for a 20MW green hydrogen plant in Milford Haven, set to start production in 2028. Supported by UK government subsidies, the project aims to produce 2,000 tonnes of hydrogen annually, benefiting local industrial customers.

MorGen Energy has engaged Kent for engineering design and EPC services for a green hydrogen plant in Milford Haven, capable of producing 2,000 tonnes annually. The facility will utilize two 10 MW modular electrolyser systems from ITM Power, expected to commence operations in 2028.
The project, which achieved final investment decision in March 2026, is backed by the UK government's Hydrogen Allocation Round 1, ensuring a subsidy structure for 15 years post-launch. Current delays in subsidy contracts for HAR1 and uncertainty surrounding HAR2 projects may impact future developments in the hydrogen sector, necessitating a clear government strategy.
