KEPCO Enters U.S. Market with PSEG for 765kV Transmission Project

Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) has finalized a deal with Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. (PSEG) to collaborate on a 765 kV ultra-high-voltage transmission project in the United States.
KEPCO will provide technical consulting and may engage in project execution through equity investment, contingent on PSEG securing U.S. contracts. Additionally, KEPCO intends to work with Korean equipment suppliers to penetrate the U.S. transmission market.
This initiative aims to bolster KEPCO's competitiveness and establish a foundation for future energy ventures in the U.S., such as advanced distribution management systems. The collaboration highlights KEPCO's engineering capabilities and potential impact on U.S. power infrastructure.
