WIND ENERGY
KESTO, a joint venture between ESVAGT and KMC Line, has secured a 10-year contract to provide offshore service logistics for Vestas at the Shinan-Ui offshore wind farm in South Korea. The contract begins in 2028 and extends until 2039, covering both construction and operational phases.
KESTO is constructing two 27-metre crew transfer vessels designed to support maintenance of Vestas' V236-15.0 MW turbines, with delivery set for Q1 2028. The project will supply electricity to around 350,000 households annually once operational. KESTO will source crew through KMC Line's maritime network and collaborate with local universities for training.
