Khen Energy Secures 10-MW Battery Project in Sri Lanka, Totaling 20-MW Capacity
Khen Energy Limited has received a second Letter of Award for a 10-MW Battery Energy Storage System in Sri Lanka. Its subsidiary, WKV Hydro Technics, will manage the project, increasing the company's total BESS capacity in the country to 20 MW. The project is expected to commence operations within nine months following the Energy Storage Agreement.

Khen Energy Limited has secured a second Letter of Award for a 10-MW Battery Energy Storage System in Sri Lanka, awarded to its subsidiary, WKV Hydro Technics. This award raises the company's total BESS capacity in Sri Lanka to 20 MW. The commercial operation of the new project is anticipated within nine months following the signing of the Energy Storage Agreement, expected to occur within a month of accepting the LOA.
