Kioxia Corporation announced that its 2.5-inch SSDs, including the CM7 Series Enterprise PCIe 5.0 NVMe 2.0, CD8P Series Data Center PCIe 5.0 NVMe 2.0, and CD8 Series Data Center PCIe 4.0 NVMe 1.4, have been tested for compatibility with the Adaptec SmartRAID 4300 Series storage accelerator from Microchip Technology Inc. The SmartRAID 4300 supports up to 32 NVMe SSDs, connecting each drive directly to the CPU via dedicated channels, eliminating PCIe bottlenecks typically caused by traditional single x16 host interfaces. This innovative architecture delivers exceptional throughput and IOPS, making it suitable for data-intensive enterprise applications, relying on ecosystem collaboration and interoperability for seamless integration of current and future technologies.
