Kodal Minerals Exits Nielle Gold Concession Following License Expiration
Kodal Minerals has exited the Nielle gold concession in Côte d'Ivoire after its license expired without renewal approval. This development impacts the company's asset portfolio in the region.

Kodal Minerals PLC no longer retains rights to the Nielle gold concession in Côte d'Ivoire, as its license has expired. Initially granted in 2014 for three years, the license underwent two renewals and received an exceptional two-year extension in 2023.
However, a subsequent request for another exceptional renewal was not accepted, resulting in the company's exit from the concession. This could affect Kodal's strategic positioning in West Africa's mineral exploration and development sector, particularly as they focus on lithium production.
