Komaki Launches ₹30 Crore Battery Plant in Gurgaon, Boosting EV Production Capacity
Komaki Electric Vehicles has inaugurated a second lithium battery plant in Gurgaon, investing ₹30 crore to enhance its production capabilities. The facility will produce 120,000 LiFePO4 batteries annually, addressing the growing demand in India's electric vehicle market.

Komaki Electric Vehicles has opened its second lithium battery manufacturing facility in Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon, with ₹30 crore investment. Spanning 40,000 sq. ft., this plant is set to produce 10,000 LiFePO4 batteries monthly, totaling 120,000 annually, making it the largest integrated EV battery unit in North India.
The facility focuses on LFP and LMFP technologies known for their safety, longevity, and faster charging, suitable for Indian conditions. With a lifecycle of up to 2,500 charge cycles and warranties of three to five years, this move enhances Komaki's domestic manufacturing capabilities and aligns with India's push for local battery production amid rising EV adoption.
