Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) showcased its AI water management technology at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, where it won the Glomo Awards for its Smart Water Network Management technology, marking the first win for a Korean public institution. This recognition highlights K-water's three key technologies: water management digital twins, AI water purification, and smart network management.

K-water formed strategic alliances with tech giants including Google and Meta, and signed agreements with Catalonia Water Cluster and Eurecat in Spain. Additionally, K-water and eight participating innovative water companies secured $40 million in investments, enhancing Korea's role in the global water industry.
