Korean Air and Skyports Infrastructure Partner for Integrated eVTOL Platform Development
Korean Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Skyports Infrastructure to develop an integrated platform for eVTOL operations. The agreement, formalized on February 26, 2026, at Drone Show Korea, aims to combine Korean Air's ACROSS flight management system with Skyports' Vertiport Automation System (VAS). The partnership will focus on managing the entire passenger journey and conducting pilot programs for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) commercialization in targeted regions.

Korean Air and Skyports Infrastructure have partnered to develop an integrated platform for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) operations, formalized on February 26, 2026, at Drone Show Korea in Busan. The collaboration combines Korean Air's ACROSS system for flight operations and air traffic management with Skyports' VAS for vertiport control.
The goal is to manage the full passenger experience from check-in to arrival, with plans for joint demonstrations and pilot programs in selected markets. This initiative aims to advance the AAM sector and establish both companies as leaders in the field. Skyports is also expanding its vertiport network, with operations planned in Dubai for 2026 and ongoing projects in Abu Dhabi and New York.
