KraftPowercon to Supply 5 MW Rectifier for HyAxiom's Hydrogen Project on Jeju Island
Jeju Island is advancing as a key site for industrial hydrogen production in Korea. KraftPowercon has been chosen to provide a 5 MW rectifier system for HyAxiom's electrolyzer project, which is crucial for converting AC to stable DC power. The H2Kraft solution aims to facilitate installation and ensure reliable operation amid varying grid conditions. The project, confirmed in December 2025, highlights the importance of robust power conversion in scaling hydrogen production.

Jeju Island is developing as a significant site for industrial hydrogen production in Korea. KraftPowercon will supply a 5 MW rectifier system for HyAxiom's electrolyzer project, which is essential for converting AC from the medium-voltage grid to stable DC for electrolysis.
The H2Kraft solution features a standardized container design for easier installation and commissioning. The rectifier system is designed to reduce harmonic current and maintain grid stability as hydrogen production scales. The project, awarded in December 2025, emphasizes the need for reliable power infrastructure to support industrial hydrogen production.
