Kuwait's budget for the fiscal year 2026-2037 projects revenues at 16.3 billion Kuwaiti dinars ($53.8 billion) and expenditures at 26.1 billion Kuwaiti dinars ($86.2 billion), indicating a shortfall of 9.8 billion Kuwaiti dinars. Key infrastructure projects include the new airport terminal, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port, and expansions of wastewater treatment facilities, part of a broader stimulus package aimed at improving economic activity and creating job opportunities for nationals. The budget is based on a conservative oil price forecast of $57 per barrel, lower than the previous year's assumption.
