Kyivstar Invests $850M in Network Resilience and Infrastructure Amid Ongoing Conflict in Ukraine
Kyivstar has invested over $850 million in network resilience and infrastructure over four years, with significant focus on energy independence and new technologies. The company deployed 11,900 new base stations, upgraded 30,300 sites, and ensured 96.2% population access to 4G connectivity. Investments also included 4.6 billion hryvnias for energy resilience and 4.4 billion hryvnias for direct military aid. Moving forward, Kyivstar plans an additional $1 billion investment through 2027 to support Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

Kyivstar has invested approximately $850 million in enhancing its network resilience and infrastructure amid ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Over four years, the company deployed 11,900 new base stations and upgraded 30,300 existing sites, allowing 96.2% of the population in Ukraine-controlled areas to access 4G services.
Key investments included 4.6 billion hryvnias for energy resilience, covering the installation of 251,000 batteries and 4,750 generators, and nearly 4.4 billion hryvnias in aid to Ukraine's Defense Forces. A planned additional investment of $1 billion through 2027 aims to further strengthen Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
