Kyrgyzstan Allocates 173 Billion Soms for Infrastructure Investment from 2021 to 2025
Kyrgyzstan invested 173.6 billion soms over five years from 2021 to 2025 to enhance national infrastructure, as reported by the Ministry of Finance. Key sectors benefiting from this investment include transport, energy, water supply, healthcare, and agriculture, with significant projects completed and ongoing in each area. The investment has reportedly improved the quality of life across the country and increased fixed capital investment by 18.1% in 2025.

From 2021 to 2025, Kyrgyzstan allocated 173.6 billion soms in public investment to strengthen infrastructure. The transport sector received 47.8 billion soms, completing the North-South highway and modernizing roads.
Energy investments totaled 38.4 billion soms, leading to the construction of the Datka power transmission line and modernization of hydropower units. Water supply projects received 23.2 billion soms, providing clean water to 796 villages.
The healthcare sector received 6.6 billion soms for new facilities and equipment. Agriculture investments totaled 16.9 billion soms, supporting thousands of farmers and modernizing irrigation systems. Overall, these investments are expected to contribute to sustainable development and improved living conditions.
