La Caisse de dépôt has extended C$240 million (US$175.8 million) in senior financing to Cologix for its new MTL8 data center in Montreal, located in the Technoparc of Saint-Laurent. The center will provide 21 MW of capacity across 206,000 sq ft and commenced construction in 2023.

This investment marks La Caisse's third funding round for Cologix since their partnership began in 2021, aimed at enhancing digital infrastructure in Canada. Cologix's recent acquisitions include a carrier hotel in Calgary and data centers in Toronto, reinforcing its commitment to expanding critical digital infrastructure.
