A landslide caused by rain near the Dangduru hydro-power project in Kishtwar resulted in one fatality and one injury. Simultaneously, a joint rescue operation evacuated 235 people stranded at Sinthan top due to severe snowfall.

Educational institutions outside Kishtwar and Doda were closed as a precaution. The rescue operation, involving police, Army, and civil administration, provided food and shelter to civilians and restored mobility for 38 vehicles. The operation was supervised by local officials and occurred under challenging weather conditions.
