Launch of EU Fund Management Project for Sustainable Development in Romania
A new project focused on managing external funds for sustainable development in Romania will commence in Bucharest, aiming to enhance administrative capacities and align with EU objectives. It targets training over 450 public administration staff in sustainability practices over a four-year period.

A project focused on the management of non-reimbursable external funds for Romania's sustainable development is set to launch in Bucharest. The initiative, backed by the European Social Fund Plus, has a budget of RON 11,022,259.83 and will run from November 2025 to February 2029.
The project includes training for 200 individuals in sustainable development and the circular economy, and 250 employees in sustainable development statistics, enhancing the competencies of public administration. The alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) signifies its importance for EU cohesion policy, aiming for a digitalized and sustainability-oriented administration.
