Launch of Zero: A Groundbreaking Emission-Free Yacht Project
Project Zero represents a significant advancement in sustainable yachting with a 70m yacht designed for zero emissions, set to launch soon. The collaboration among leading design and construction firms aims to establish industry standards for eco-friendly luxury vessels.

The Zero yacht, a 70m vessel developed under Project Zero, is nearing launch after over six years of collaboration among Vripack, Dykstra Naval Architects, and Vitters Shipyard. It features advanced technologies such as hydrogeneration systems, a significant solar panel installation, and custom lithium batteries storing 5.2 megawatt-hours of energy, enabling a range of 400 nautical miles.
The yacht's design emphasizes both aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency, incorporating innovations like heat harvesting and natural ventilation through its hollow carbon mast. With the implementation of over 1,000 sensors, Zero is positioned as a prototype for future sustainable yachts, embodying a shift towards emission-free marine travel.
