Le Triangle Expands Production with New Factory and Solar Battery Solutions in Morée, France

SOLAR ENERGYENERGY STORAGE

Le Triangle, a manufacturer of metal frameworks and photovoltaic solutions, inaugurated a new industrial site in Morée, France, on January 20, with an investment of €13.5 million. The expansion includes 2,000 m² of office space and a 30,000 m² workshop aimed at increasing production volume by 2.5 times.

Approximately 20% of the investment was allocated to a 120-meter long powder coating line, reducing the use of harmful solvents. To minimize energy consumption, the company will install 2 MW of solar panels and six lithium-ion batteries totaling 1.3 MW, manufactured by Huawei.

The company aims for an 80% self-consumption rate for solar electricity. The Triangle plans to offer battery storage solutions to clients, leveraging its own installation as an industrial demonstration. In 2024, the group reported €450 million in revenue and installed 1.4 GW of solar power, viewing this market as a growth opportunity amidst challenges in renewable energy.
